When we fix our minds on what is loving and gracious we are dancing in truth. Is it so difficult to experience joy and love the majority of our days? No, it can be our reality when we exercise our spiritual muscle and lean, rely and trust God. When emotions come over us, stop and let it flow through and feel the feelings without judgment. It will pass, and joy and love will remain. We can have so many thoughts and feelings, but it is the ones we feed that will dominate us. Let go, give it all to God, and all that is left is joy and love! And of course love is the greatest.
8 For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely andlovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue andexcellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things [fix your minds on them].
