Forgiveness being the gateway and tool to this continuous abiding in God, is vital. Liberation is the freedom from the, me and mine and the return to Love's Presence. God is  LOVE! A Course in Miracles 14. The concept of the self has always been the great preoccupation of the world. ²And everyone believes that he must find the answer to the riddle of himself. ³Salvation can be seen as nothing more than the escape from concepts. ⁴It does not concern itself with content of the mind, but with the simple statement that it thinks. ⁵And what can think has choice, and can be shown that different thoughts have different consequence. ⁶So it can learn that everything it thinks reflects the deep confusion that it feels about how it was made and what it is. ⁷And vaguely does the concept of the self appear to answer what it does not know. 15. Seek not your Self in symbols. ²There can be no concept that can stand for what you are. ³What matters it which concept you accept while you perceive a self that interacts with evil, and reacts to wicked things? ⁴Your concept of yourself will still remain quite meaningless. ⁵And you will not perceive that you can interact but with yourself. ⁶To see a guilty world is but the sign your learning has been guided by the world, and you behold it as you see yourself. ⁷The concept of the self embraces all you look upon, and nothing is outside of this perception. ⁸If you can be hurt by anything, you see a picture of your secret wishes. ⁹Nothing more than this. ¹⁰And in your suffering of any kind you see your own concealed desire to kill. 16. You will make many concepts of the self as learning goes along. ²Each one will show the changes in your own relationships, as your perception of yourself is changed. ³There will be some confusion every time there is a shift, but be you thankful that the learning of the world is loosening its grasp upon your mind. ⁴And be you sure and happy in the confidence that it will go at last, and leave your mind at peace. 2. The basic decision of the miracle-minded is not to wait on time any longer than is necessary. ²Time can waste as well as be wasted. ³The miracle worker, therefore, accepts the time-control factor gladly. ⁴He recognizes that every collapse of time brings everyone closer to the ultimate release from time, in which the Son and the Father are One. ⁵

5. Delay is of the ego, because time is its concept. ²Both time and delay are meaningless in eternity. ³I have said before that the Holy Spirit is God’s Answer to the ego. ⁴Everything of which the Holy Spirit reminds you is in direct opposition to the ego’s notions, because true and false perceptions are themselves opposed. ⁵The Holy Spirit has the task of undoing what the ego has made. ⁶He undoes it at the same level on which the ego operates, or the mind would be unable to understand the change.

6. I have repeatedly emphasized that one level of the mind is not understandable to another. ²So it is with the ego and the Holy Spirit; with time and eternity. ³Eternity is an idea of God, so the Holy Spirit understands it perfectly. ⁴Time is a belief of the ego, so the lower mind, which is the ego’s domain, accepts it without question. ⁵The only aspect of time that is eternal is now.

In the silence we release all chatter in the mind, all conflicts in the world, all seeming fears that war against each other in this dualistic system.  In the silence there is no fight, there is no conflict, there is but only One Guide that will instruct us in all areas of our life.  Let us fall back into the sacred silence where we are so protected from the appearing harshness of the egos dream.  Let us be still before God and allow the Holy Spirit to breathe through us.  In this moment the sacred Stillness of Silence awaits our return Home. The Forgiveness of Illusions

I. True Empathy

1. To empathize does not mean to join in suffering, for that is what you must refuse to understand. ²That is the ego’s interpretation of empathy, and is always used to form a special relationship in which the suffering is shared. ³The capacity to empathize is very useful to the Holy Spirit, provided you let Him use it in His way. ⁴His way is very different. ⁵He does not understand suffering, and would have you teach it is not understandable. ⁶When He relates through you, He does not relate through your ego to another ego. ⁷He does not join in pain, understanding that healing pain is not accomplished by delusional attempts to enter into it, and lighten it by sharing the delusion.

Truth sets free

Watch and observe. Pause and pray. Desire to loose interest in false egoic idols. They offer nothing, because they come from nothing. Only Truth remains the same, unchanging eternally. In Grace by Faith we are given a Holy gaze by which to see the World and our Brothers and Sisters. All is always well in Loves embrace of Grace. As Bill sees it (pg. 76-last verse) "Only God is unchanging; only He has all the truth there is." LETTER, 1966 A Course in Miracles Lesson 107 Truth will correct all errors in my mind. 1. What can correct illusions but the truth? ²And what are errors but illusions that remain unrecognized for what they are?³Where truth has entered errors disappear. ⁴They merely vanish, leaving not a trace by which to be remembered. ⁵They are gone because, without belief, they have no life. ⁶And so they disappear to nothingness, returning whence they came.⁷From dust to dust they come and go, for only truth remains. Let go and move on

Daily light meditation Never give any wiggle room for the ego to build a story around a person, place or thing. When a disturbance seems to appear, ask God to be with you right away. Become aware of God's Presence and enter into the Divine Truth of the situation. It is God's light that shines into the darkness of the self made ego. It is only God's light that dispels it. Stop story building around everything and rest in Heavens Home that is alive on the inside! A Course in Miracles LESSON 254  Let every voice but God’s be still in me. 1. Father, today I would but hear Your Voice. In deepest silence I would come to You, to hear Your Voice and to receive Your Word. I have no prayer but this: I come to You to ask You for the truth. And truth is but Your Will, which I would share with You today. 2. Today we let no ego thoughts direct our words or actions. When such thoughts occur, we quietly step back and look at them, and then we let them go. We do not want what they would bring with them. And so we do not choose to keep them. They are silent now. And in the stillness, hallowed by His Love, God speaks to us and tells us of our will, as we have chosen to remember Him.
