It is within we find our real Self (God Self). To keep seeking outside for any value, or approval will merely keep us stuck in a dream. Jesus states so clearly that the Kingdom of God is within, and also at hand (which means NOW). May we drop the distractions that interfere with how we may serve through Divine providence. Freedom is in the surrender of self (small-s) and acceptance of the love of God! We are worthy through Grace!

Sacrifice has been an age old idea we made. Many stories in the old testament illustrate how this came to be and indeed we will not comprehend the illustrations in the Bible if we are reading them from our head and not the Spirit. Scriptures are mystical truths that are understood through the realm of the Spirit. So let us come before our God of pure and perfect love and lay down once and for all our illusions of sacrifice. For to give is to love, and there is no sacrifice in love for it asks nothing. 

Lesson 343

I am not asked to make a sacrifice
To find the mercy and the peace of God.

The end of suffering can not be loss. The gift of everything can be but gain. You only give. You never take away. And You created me to be like You, so sacrifice becomes impossible for me as well as You. I, too, must give. And so all things are given unto me forever and forever. As I was created I remain. Your Son can make no sacrifice, for he must be complete, having the function of completing You. I am complete because I am Your Son. I cannot lose, for I can only give, and everything is mine eternally.

The mercy and the peace of God are free. Salvation has no cost. It is a gift that must be freely given and received. And it is this that we would learn today.

Our Spirit and Christ Spirit are one for all eternity. We must embrace the truth to activate and experience our awakening. Our carnal self is not our real self and that is what makes it powerless. Our Spiritual Self is our real Self at one with God in Spirit. As we accept the truth in Spirit it flows through into the soul and through the physical, and that is the demonstration of the fruit of the Spirit. All life is in Spirit and we are free to choose truth.

Romans 8:11

The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.

Peace to my mind. Let all my thoughts be still.

Father, I come to You today to seek the peace that You alone can give. I come in silence. In the quiet of my heart, the deep recesses of my mind, I wait and listen for Your Voice. My Father, speak to me today. I come to hear Your Voice in silence and in certainty and love, sure You will hear my call and answer me.

Now do we wait in quiet. God is here, because we wait together. I am sure that He will speak to you, and you will hear. Accept my confidence, for it is yours. Our minds are joined. We wait with one intent; to hear our Father's answer to our call, to let our thoughts be still and find His peace, to hear Him speak to us of what we are, and to reveal Himself unto His Son.
