Defined by Love

Meditation for contemplation We are defined by Love, not the defects of the false character that appeared to get built from Family survival patterns. As we grow up in emotional sobriety we can live more freely and relaxed. For it is the Power of God's Love that transforms every defect to an asset. When we expose what we are not, what we are is available-Now! Are we now ready to let God remove from us all the things which we have admitted are objectionable? Can He now take them all - every one? If we still cling to something we will not let go, we ask God to help us be willing. Free to forgive

Daily light meditation True forgiveness is not pardon, for to pardon is still to hold a slight charge around the grievance. True forgiveness is to bless the other and change the inner condition that held the resentment. This happens by Grace! The Power of God goes deep and the gift of forgiveness is an act of surrender into the Power that transforms that energy into pure love. A Course in Miracles (T~1.VI.1:1) You who want peace can find it only by complete forgiveness.  (T~3.V.6:1-3) Prayer is a way of asking for something. ²It is the medium of miracles. ³But the only meaningful prayer is for forgiveness, because those who have been forgiven have everything. Law of subtraction

Daily light meditation The spiritual way of life is a life of subtraction not addition. A way of traveling lighter. A way of being that is open and rests in the Divine flow of The Holy Spirit in each moment. The ego can throw out distractions-dramas-fears etc-that we need NOT attach to (it is like a parasite-seeking a host).  Watch and pray, be the observer not the absorber. Hold every thought captive and expose it's lie in the Truth of God and another person and it looses it's energy-subtract it! Divine practice in surrender equals being surrendered. Big Book (pg-84) This is not an overnight matter. It should continue for our lifetime. Continue to watch for selfishness, dishonesty, resentment, and fear. When these crop up, we ask God at once to remove them. We discuss them with someone immediately and make amends quickly if we have harmed anyone. Then we resolutely turn our thoughts to someone we can help. Love and tolerance of others is our code. Raise your gaze

Daily light meditation Let us look towards the light of perfection. Lets us reach for the stars and not look back. If we keep the focus on what is Holy and pure great events will come to pass.  We are in a climate these days that cry out to raise the gaze towards God's perfect love-NOW! Philippians 4:8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things. A Course in miracles (last verse in lesson-156) 8. “Who walks with me?” This question should be asked a thousand times a day, till certainty has ended doubting and estab­lished peace. Today let doubting cease. God speaks for you in answering your question with these words: I walk with God in perfect holiness. I light the world, I light my mind and all the minds which God created one with me. In an instant we are reborn

Daily light meditation In an instant we can return to love. In an instant our troubles are solved. In an instant we are restored to sanity.  We must not seek to change this world, but merely seek to change our mind about the world. God awaits merely on our cooperation-NOW! A Course in Miracles LESSON 291  This is a day of stillness and of peace. 1. Christ’s vision looks through me today. His sight shows me all things forgiven and at peace, and offers this same vision to the world. And I accept this vision in its name, both for myself and for the world as well. What loveliness we look upon today! What holiness we see surrounding us! And it is given us to recognize it is a holiness in which we share; it is the Holiness of God Himself. 2. This day my mind is quiet, to receive the Thoughts You offer me. And I accept what comes from You, instead of from myself. I do not know the way to You. But You are wholly certain. Father, guide Your Son along the quiet path that leads to You. Let my forgiveness be complete, and let the memory of You return to me. Let go and move on

Daily light meditation Never give any wiggle room for the ego to build a story around a person, place or thing. When a disturbance seems to appear, ask God to be with you right away. Become aware of God's Presence and enter into the Divine Truth of the situation. It is God's light that shines into the darkness of the self made ego. It is only God's light that dispels it. Stop story building around everything and rest in Heavens Home that is alive on the inside! A Course in Miracles LESSON 254  Let every voice but God’s be still in me. 1. Father, today I would but hear Your Voice. In deepest silence I would come to You, to hear Your Voice and to receive Your Word. I have no prayer but this: I come to You to ask You for the truth. And truth is but Your Will, which I would share with You today. 2. Today we let no ego thoughts direct our words or actions. When such thoughts occur, we quietly step back and look at them, and then we let them go. We do not want what they would bring with them. And so we do not choose to keep them. They are silent now. And in the stillness, hallowed by His Love, God speaks to us and tells us of our will, as we have chosen to remember Him. Gentle and kind

Daily light meditation

Can we accept how much our Creator loves us? This love is not based on performance, but based on infinite love that simply keeps giving.

May we embrace a gentle and kind view of ourselves. We may make mistakes, but we are not one. And so let gentleness and kindness bless our world and let it begin within!

A Course in Miracles

(lesson-281)

I can be hurt by nothing but my thoughts.

1. Father, Your Son is perfect. When I think that I am hurt in any way, it is because I have forgotten who I am, and that I am as You created me. Your Thoughts can only bring me happiness. If ever I am sad or hurt or ill, I have forgotten what You think, and put my little meaningless ideas in place of where Your Thoughts belong, and where they are. I can be hurt by nothing but my thoughts. The Thoughts I think with You can only bless. The Thoughts I think with You alone are true.

2. I will not hurt myself today. For I am far beyond all pain. My Father placed me safe in Heaven, watching over me. And I would not attack the Son He loves, for what He loves is also mine to love.
