Although this may appear as a process of the conditioned mind, in Truth it is a gentle transition from false to True. What can be a sacrifice is merely an offering of releasing a heavy load of debris that the ego burdened us with.  For example when Coaching folks through a physical detox, the first step is clearing out the toxins that have built up over the years. It may be vital to let go of foods that are not supporting optimal health. Is it giving up, or merely making room for health? All that is really occurring is making room for Divine Truth to Direct all areas of Life. This can appear uncomfortable, until Holy Spirit lifts the veil of false perceptions. Free at last when seen from Truth. God "IS"  and we cease to think, but merely  "BE" Intuitively moved.
