Full reliance in Spirit

One gentle step at a time we awake to life in the spirit. This is not an over night matter although some times it can be, and a person can have a sudden awakening all at once. Our human bodies are meant to be in service of Spirit which is pure joy, and total freedom. The journey will be one of subtraction, not addition. God is not lost. We have put other distractions in the way which must become subtractions. Let it go, and be moved and breathed by the Spirit.

2 Corinthians 3:4-6

4 Such is the reliance and confidence that we have through Christ toward and with reference to God.

5 Not that we are fit (qualified and sufficient in ability) of ourselves to form personal judgments or to claim or count anything as coming from us, but our power andability and sufficiency are from God.

6 [It is He] Who has qualified us [making us to be fit and worthy and sufficient] as ministers and dispensers of a new covenant [of salvation through Christ], not [ministers] of the letter (of legally written code) but of the Spirit; for the code [of the Law] kills, but the [Holy] Spirit makes alive.

Rich soil

In order to receive the depth and weight of the truth of God we must have all that stands in the way to be removed and flushed out for good. Sufficient house cleaning is vital for the seeds of truth to take root in rich soil and produce infinite fruit. Clean house, trust God, serve others.

4 Again Jesus began to teach beside the lake. And a very great crowd gathered about Him, so that He got into a ship in order to sit in it on the sea, and the whole crowd was at the lakeside on the shore.

3 Give attention to this! Behold, a sower went out to sow.
4 And as he was sowing, some seed fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up.
5 Other seed [of the same kind] fell on ground full of rocks, where it had not much soil; and at once it sprang up, because it had no depth of soil;
6 And when the sun came up, it was scorched, and because it had not taken root, it withered away.
7 Other seed [of the same kind] fell among thorn plants, and the thistles grew andpressed together and utterly choked and suffocated it, and it yielded no grain.
8 And other seed [of the same kind] fell into good (well-adapted) soil and brought forth grain, growing up and increasing, and yielded up to thirty times as much, and sixty times as much, and even a hundred times as much as had been sown.
9 And He said, He who has ears to hear, let him be hearing [and let him consider, and comprehend].

Be true to truth

Setting proper boundaries is a healthy spiritual practice. We must keep it really simple, when we are led by the Spirit to say yes we say yes, and when we are led by the Spirit to say no, we say no, but seek not to explain why the no is a no. Truth needs no defense. We are meant to simply be authentic without explaining ourselves away. Ask and pray in all things and truth will always reveal it Self!

Matthew 5:34-37

34 But I tell you, Do not bind yourselves by an oath at all: either by heaven, for it is the throne of God;

35 Or by the earth, for it is the footstool of His feet; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King.

36 And do not swear by your head, for you are not able to make a single hair white or black.

37 Let your Yes be simply Yes, and your No be simply No; anything more than that comes from the evil one.

Be true to truth

No guilt

We have been taught that guilt serves some purpose, however we can be sure the only purpose is for the Holy Spirit to transform us by a renewed mind in the Spirit. Guilt merely reinforces sin and error and this is the ego's biggest gun (and it lies). Does guilt make any of us feel healthy, or happy? No! A free mind is a guiltless mind cleansed by Christ. This was the entire point of the resurrection. So let us live in the Power of resurrection today! Amen.

Receiving the Holy Spirit

Be of good discernment and wisdom so that the pure guidance of the Holy Spirit is fully available. It is so important to be consistent and constant with our Spiritual practice. In today's fast paced world it is vital to maintain a very strong spiritual center and practice, every day. We cannot live off of yesterdays prayers or meditations. One day at a time we grow in effectiveness and service when we remain spiritually fit.

John 16:13-15

"When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. He will glorify me, for he will take what is mine and declare it to you. All that the Father has is mine;  therefore I said that he will take what is mine and declare it to you"

Power of stillness

"Being" is a blessing. Stillness is the sacred space within us that remains centered and in total peace no matter what goes on in the external conditions. This is our God space, and when we become fully embodied in this truth it radiates healing energy that is far beyond our comprehension. The Christ Spirit that Jesus demonstrated so perfectly is in us, and is us, when we accept this is so. We can be filled with the Spirit, but walking in the Spirit is living a life of pure freedom and living fully in the power of resurrection, which is the power of stillness!

Planting seeds of love

Every seed planted will produce some type of fruit. Every word uttered out of our mouth will plant seeds and we will eat the fruit of it. There is an old saying that states we will eat our own words. So very true. We will always reap what we sow. If we continue to let anything fly out of our mouth (complaints-small or large, judgments, anger etc) we are poisoning ourselves with bad fruit, and our entire being will be affected. We have free will, yet there is nothing freeing when we let negativity come form our mouth (which all begins with our thoughts). The lips speak what the heart is full of. Want a huge harvest? Plant only seeds of love. 

Love is the answer all the time!
