Treasure

  1. The lips will speak what the heart is full of. What is truly in our hearts? Have we stored up treasures in the heart of love? Holding any resentments/anger/judgments? When we decide to change our ways God's Holy Spirit transform us (Roman 12:2)
  2. Let us sow seeds into the Lords Kingdom~Amen!
Matthew 6:19-21
19 'Do not store up treasures for yourselves on earth, where moth and woodworm destroy them and thieves can break in and steal.
20 But store up treasures for yourselves in heaven, where neither moth nor woodworm destroys them and thieves cannot break in and steal.
21 For wherever your treasure is, there will your heart be too.

Rejoice

Rejoice in all things! When life is not easy simply make the choice to rejoice the rest will follow. We all need to retrain-re-discipline-and redo our way of thinking. Ask and receive that which already is.
Dear Lord~may our thinking be free and clear of wrong motives. Cause us to live and breathe from a spiritual experience (vital sixth sense)~Amen!
James 1:1-8
1 From James, servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ. Greetings to the twelve tribes of the Dispersion.
2 My brothers, consider it a great joy when trials of many kinds come upon you,
3 for you well know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance, and
4 perseverance must complete its work so that you will become fully developed, complete, not deficient in any way.
5 Any of you who lacks wisdom must ask God, who gives to all generously and without scolding; it will be given.
6 But the prayer must be made with faith, and no trace of doubt, because a person who has doubts is like the waves thrown up in the sea by the buffeting of the wind.
7 That sort of person, in two minds,
8 inconsistent in every activity, must not expect to receive anything from the Lord.

Bless others

It can seem monumental to bless a person that appeared to do something really disturbing. In truth, which will set us free, we all have done something, if not the same thing as what disturbed us, may be something similar. We may not have murdered a person, yet in our thoughts we may have, and this does have impact. We can only forgive and forget by God's love and power, not our own. This is Good News, because we merely allow for God to do the mighty works within us. It really is simple!

Romans 12:14
14 Bless your persecutors; never curse them, bless them.

Honesty

Honesty sets free our bondage of self. How often we fall prey to the dictates of worldly concepts, laws, rules, that can merely reinforce who we are not. It takes courage and power to "BE" authentic. How do we accomplish this? We do not, God does the work within, we must let God perform the miracle. The program of 12 step recovery remains one of the most powerful tools of complete freedom (my personal experience), because it gets to the root of causes and conditions that keep us stuck. Until we can actually put the pen to the paper and write an honest inventory (4th step) we will stay stuck. All the talking and confessing of our issues often merely keeps them going. Through honest inventory we look at how we are playing God, and how we want the world to be as we say it should be. In this way we recognize our powerlessness and open ourselves to real power-God Power~Amen
All is well-God does not need our help-God needs our cooperation!

Grateful

The most easy and simple formula for joy is being grateful in each moment. Stop and reflect on every grateful aspect of life. Even the imagined struggles~"be" grateful. It is only our judgments that make something difficult. A grateful heart can never be angry or resentful. Darkness and light can not dwell together because light over powers the dark. Every knee must bow!

Psalm 33:3
Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully [on the strings] with a loud and joyful sound.

Original goodness

We are responsable for our own egoic (false self)~mistakes, which is the problemWe must name it to tame it. By identifying the problem without getting consumed in it-healing happens. Jesus never had conversations with demons, but merely recognized them for what they are. Today we may not want to use the term-demon-devil (which is in us collectively~and than projected outward!), so we soften it by using more modern terms like ego-false self etc. Why is this? Very simple-the ego-false self looks to reconstruct it self any way it can and part of it is the very terms and words that will cause bristling. It matters not, as long as the point is clear. The point is embracing our original "goodness"~that which God intended before the beginning. Let not certain terms prevent the truth form sowing seeds deep within the heart. In the end truth is truth and this is what sets us free from the bondage of self.

I agree that we can and should name evil as evil. But unless we first name the underlying goodness and coherence of reality, along with our own imperfectionwe will attack it with methods and self-righteousness that will only deepen the problem. (Quote-Fr. Rich Rohr)

Matthew 8:16
When evening came, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed; and He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were ill.

1 John 3:8
The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work.

Over~came

We are to keep the focus on the one solution in our day to day life "God". The primary reality is within, and the secondary reality is outward. Seek not to confuse the two. Risen Jesus lives within and through us. In a "personal relationship we join as one to overcome that which appears in the outer condition. The outer will always shift when the inside is correct and in alignment with God.
John 16:33
I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]
