Receiving the Holy Spirit

Be of good discernment and wisdom so that the pure guidance of the Holy Spirit is fully available. It is so important to be consistent and constant with our Spiritual practice. In today's fast paced world it is vital to maintain a very strong spiritual center and practice, every day. We cannot live off of yesterdays prayers or meditations. One day at a time we grow in effectiveness and service when we remain spiritually fit.

John 16:13-15

"When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. He will glorify me, for he will take what is mine and declare it to you. All that the Father has is mine;  therefore I said that he will take what is mine and declare it to you"

Power of stillness

"Being" is a blessing. Stillness is the sacred space within us that remains centered and in total peace no matter what goes on in the external conditions. This is our God space, and when we become fully embodied in this truth it radiates healing energy that is far beyond our comprehension. The Christ Spirit that Jesus demonstrated so perfectly is in us, and is us, when we accept this is so. We can be filled with the Spirit, but walking in the Spirit is living a life of pure freedom and living fully in the power of resurrection, which is the power of stillness!

Planting seeds of love

Every seed planted will produce some type of fruit. Every word uttered out of our mouth will plant seeds and we will eat the fruit of it. There is an old saying that states we will eat our own words. So very true. We will always reap what we sow. If we continue to let anything fly out of our mouth (complaints-small or large, judgments, anger etc) we are poisoning ourselves with bad fruit, and our entire being will be affected. We have free will, yet there is nothing freeing when we let negativity come form our mouth (which all begins with our thoughts). The lips speak what the heart is full of. Want a huge harvest? Plant only seeds of love. 

Love is the answer all the time!

Planting seeds of love

Intention

As we think, therefore we are, and all thought will produce form in some way.

As we speak we make manifest.

When we are filled with the Holy Spirit we are free to be truly free in love and create the way God intended.

To be completely free we must remain obedient to being vigilant to the Spiritual practice and live in God consciousness. Be responsible for every word produced out of the mouth and pay attention if it really produces sweet fruit, or rotten roots.

Check in a few times a day today (take a personal inventory) and be awake enough to recognize how many times we may have said, this is really hard. How many times did we say, are you OK (a negative presupposition that implies things are not OK). How many times did we say the cold is going around I no I will get it, I will be the first. Get the drift here? A wonderful practice. Use it for Spiritual muscle, and be gentle. We are only looking at the lies of the ego insanity. Laugh, God is laughing with us (laughter and praise dispels negativity). Let us not take ourselves too serious. At least become aware, so it leads to being awake.

Intention

We often miss the true message of Christ's perfect love, by so many misperceptions along the way. There is one true message and it is so simple, God can, and we can't, and He already did! The only issue remains our self (ego) getting in the way. It is tricky and sneaky like a snake. Be aware, observe, and acknowledge it has no meaning and no truth. All life is in the Spirit, and the Spirit gives life for those who desire to be awake. Forgive the dream!

Galatians 3:2-3

2 Let me ask you this one question: Did you receive the [Holy] Spirit as the result of obeying the Law and doing its works, or was it by hearing [the message of the Gospel] and believing [it]? [Was it from observing a law of rituals or from a message of faith?]

3 Are you so foolish and so senseless and so silly? Having begun [your new life spiritually] with the [Holy] Spirit, are you now reaching perfection [by dependence] on the flesh?

Utter abandonment of self (ego)

Centered prayer

Simple centered prayer (using less words-yet deeper clarity and focus) opens our heart to move in perfect alignment with God's will. How can we really know when we are in this alignment? The ego can offer many choices that appear believable and good, but are they? This will take us through another lesson to learn. However we may make a mistake, but we are not mistaken. Yes, God will use all things for good, but not all things are in alignment with His perfect will. Time will be used by the Holy Spirit for the learning and discerning factor. What we can do is pray and ask in all situations, and give thanks for the answer already is.

 

Dear Lord, cause me to pause in all things that need decisions, and ask if this is in alignment with your perfect will for me. Cause me to be willing enough to receive and believe the proper answer. For your answer is always one, not many.

Psalm 18:28-30

28 For You cause my lamp to be lighted and to shine; the Lord my God illumines my darkness.

29 For by You I can run through a troop, and by my God I can leap over a wall.

30 As for God, His way is perfect! The word of the Lord is tested and tried; He is a shield to all those who take refuge and put their trust in Him.

God is within us (www.nanettevictoria.com)

It is within we find our real Self (God Self). To keep seeking outside for any value, or approval will merely keep us stuck in a dream. Jesus states so clearly that the Kingdom of God is within, and also at hand (which means NOW). May we drop the distractions that interfere with how we may serve through Divine providence. Freedom is in the surrender of self (small-s) and acceptance of the love of God! We are worthy through Grace!
